As religious women, our mission calls us not only to care for souls but also to tend the sacred gift of creation entrusted to us by God. Today, as we plant trees, we proclaim a powerful truth: caring for the earth is an act of faith, love, and communion.
Each tree planted is a sign of hope—roots reaching deep into the soil just as our lives are rooted in Christ and in one another. The charism of communion invites us to live in right relationship: with God, with our brothers and sisters, and with all creation. When we plant together, we witness that creation is not a resource to exploit, but a gift to protect and share in unity.
Scripture reminds us:
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)
This divine mandate calls us to responsible stewardship, especially in a world wounded by climate change, deforestation, and environmental injustice—realities that affect the poor and future generations most.
Through this mission, we appeal for support and partnership to expand our tree-planting initiatives as a sign of communion in action. By restoring the land, we restore dignity, foster peace, and strengthen the bonds that unite humanity and creation.
Join us in this sacred mission. Together, let us plant trees, nurture life, and build a future where communion flourishes—for the glory of God and the good of all.
